RETURNS FROM FLYING
SCHOOL AT BORDEN
O. St. C. Harris, of Citizen Staff,
Buck in the City After Refresher
Course
After taking the Canadian Air Force's "refresher" course in flying at Camp Borden, O. St. C. Harris returned to the city last night, and is back on The Citizen staff, after an absence of seven weeks. Mr. Harris, who holds a commission in the C.A. P., was a pilot in France during the war. While at Uorden a flew seven hours, on machines equipped with skids to land on the snow. The course also included lectures on the subjects pertaining to aviation in all its branches.
The flying establishment at Camp Borden is very extensive, and the arrangements for the training and practice of the Canadian pilots are excellent in every way. There is some doubt as to the future of the C.A.F. policy owing to the fact that the government appropriations for this branch of the Canadian forces is an uncertain quantity.
