Establishment  of  a   closed   circuit  system   of  tele vision .in   Prince George has come to. a standstill.
The halt has been called because the North West Telephone Co. has not given approval to PG-TV's cable plans.
This news came today rival American company � with offices in Indianapolis, Indiana, started negotiations to set-up a rival multi-channel system in Prince  George.

Spokesman for the American company, Karl N. Davis, stated a group of businessmen in the Indianapolis area "are most interested in the development of closed circuit television in your city."

"Cable plans were submitted to North West in mid-June but approval has not come through yet," he said.
Mr. Robinson estimated the cable would be "strung" about a month after laying began.

ACTON VALE, Quebec (CP) � Quebec Liberal Leader Jean Lesage has described as "indecent" the ownership of shares of the Quebec Natural Gas Corporation Limited by provincial government ministers.
He made the charge Wednesday night as he launched the first of a series of province-wide meetings which he described as a "protest march of liberation."
