Trainmen Won't Pass IWA Pickets KELOWNA VP �Two railway officials, one from Revelstoke, and the other from Kamloops, moved nine cars loaded with plywood from the S and K plywood plant late Thursday afternoon. Earlier in the day, trainmen re fused to cross the picket lines manned by members of the IWA. It was the first incident in" the throe � day lumber strike which has closed the S. M. Simpson Lumber Plant and S anil K plywood here. Five other southern interior operations also are tied up. Railway officials declined to comment further on the incident but it was understood an investigation was under way. The CPR also declined to say whether crews would continue to honor IWA picket lines, adding that the statement must, come from Vancouver headquarters.
