CROWNING FIRE swept a mile in five minutes Sunday afternoon to leap into green timber and again threaten Schlitt's Mill, 22 miles east of Prince George, where 100 men have been fighting the fire for three weeks. The fire in the area quieted down today and the mill is not immediately in danger.
