sigh of relief Friday when the pro provincial � vincial budget included both per capita grants and property grants to BC municipalities I Major Garvin Dezell said Wc were quite worried about the per capita grant business j earlier this year The city will get about 157 000 in per capita grants from the provincial government the same amount as last jcar Undoubtedly the uproar made by all municipalities when Bennett proposed to el eliminate � iminate all per capita grants changed the finance ministers policy said Mayor Dezell Under the Municipal Aid Act the government pays 16 for each person in a municipality with a population of 3500 per persons � sons 12 to each person in a municipality of between 3500 and 8000 8 for between 8000 and 50000 and 650 for in ex excess � cess of 50000
