spectors report that showed that total value of building permits issued up to Oct 31 this year amounted to 5885000 With construction expected to start soon on the proposed shopping centre at Fifth and was caused by an accumulation of natural gas Igniting said the verdict It went on to say that Mrs McDonald died of suffocation and burns and that the natural gas leaked from a broken pipe near the gas meter Mrs McDonalds burned body was found near the gas fired furnace of the home which was demolished in the Sept 27 blast The McDonalds four children were miraculously blown clear of tho wreckage Mr installation of a natural gas furnace and hot water heater at the McDonald home Nov 29 19G1 He said there was no rejection notation made on the application On the day of the blast Mr Fredln said he awoke at 627 am knowing that an explosion had occurred Mr Fredln arrived at the McBrlde Crescent home shortly after checking with the fire department as to the location of the explosion He said there was a definite smell of gas at that time We he and a volunteer fire fireman � man located the service cut cutoff � off valve amid the rubblo and turned it off he said There was no meter In the house
