made by president Ray Lejeune opening the annual meeting of the Association of B C Foresters In the Simon Fraser Hotel this afternoon We should promote more interest among our young people in forestry careers and partic particularly � ularly those in high schools he said It is reasonable to ex expect � pect that In our booming forest economy the future supply of professional foresters is likely to lag far behind the demand Mr Lejeune suggested the association should work closer with the Canadian Institute of Forestry Canadian Forestry Association and other groups which encourage young people to attacked by a man who offered her a ride home She told police the man tore off her clothes and attempted to attack her sexually The incident occurred shortly after midnight at the east end of First Ave The woman who is married and in her early thirties is visiting friends in Prince Geoige The temperature was 15 above and it was snowing Police are withholding the womans name She said she accepted a ride from the stranger at midnight and he drove to the place where the attack took place She managed to Jump from the mans pickup truck and escape by running up the road without any clothes She described the man as about 25 years old and five feet three inches tall with small features He was wearing a light blue suit a white shirt and dark tie He had light brown wavy hair The truck she said second day today with rail railroad � road officials keeping trains in operation to provide essential services Two trains went through Prince George Wednesday night operated by company management personnel and a third was scheduled to leave the PGE yards near the city today The strike by members of the International Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen CLC was called at midnight Tuesday and pickets have since been on duty outside the yards The strike was precipitated after a long standing dispute over pay and working conditions questions which were being studied by inquiry by Dr Neil Perry of the University of BC Labor Minister Leslie Peter Peterson � son said he was surprised by the strike because it contra contradicted � dicted an undertaking by both sides He said both the
