grip Ray Iwaskow of the Wil ton Subdivision nearly was crushed when the cab of a truck he was driving was smashed by logs from a sec second � ond truck which jack knifed in front of him Then as the logs were shifted from the wreckage by a front end loader one slipped crushing the loader cab I feel like I went through a washing ma machine � chine Mr Iwaskow said today Loader operator Ed Craft escaped without a scratch Damage to the trucks and loaders was estimated at 14000 The accident occurred at 230 pm eight miles south of Prince George one half mile from Netherlands Overseas Mills on the Sintich Road Iwaskow 34 doesnt know to today � day how he escaped death when his truck was crushed by the logs His only injuries were a small cut on the forehead and several bruises on his head one arm and one leg I feel fine he said after the accident The other truck driven by Mary on Gallant and owned by Larry Hyslop was coming down a steep hill heading for the Netherlands Overseas Mill
