Minister Gordon brought down what he termed an expansionary budget Monday with a 10 per cent cut in personal income taxes and plans for the formation of a billion dollar development corporation The tax cuts take effect July 1 so the effective reduction in 1965 will be five per cent Without tax cuts he said the budget would be a restraining influence So he put his main ex expansionary � pansionary lever the tax cuts in the hands of the Canadian taxpayers who will have an additional 1 70000000 to spend this year and 265000000 in 1 966 There were no other major tax changes in Mr
