certain the other was dead The two brothers one a farmer in Wisconsin and the other a construction worker In Prince George had not seen each other since 1912 For some unexplainable reason letters had gone astray and the brothers lost touch with each other But this week Arthur and George were reunited In Prince George The reunion came about because George the broth brother � er In Prince George need needed � ed proof of his age He wanted to join In his companys profit - sharing plan and proof was neces necessary � sary Mr Austins next step was to write the chief of police in Rice Lake Wise In an effort to trace any surviving members of his family The police cnief immed immediately � iately got In touch with younger brother Arthur who farms 160 acres of mixed crops near Rice Lake And finally after more than 50 years the brothers got together George learned that his farmer brother runs the huge farm by himself He farms 22 acres of corn five acres of oats 25 acres of timothy seed and 30 acres of hay mixture It Is a long tough day for him He gets up at 4 am each day and hits the hay at 9 pm every evening seven days a week Arthur learned that broth brother � er George after today that his province will go along with the federal governments medical care insurance proposals if most other provinces do so A conference source said Mr Bennett spent 20 minutes tell telling � ing this mornings session that he is opposed in principle to the federal proposals But the source said the BC premier added he wont stand in the way if most other provinces want the type of national medical care insurance plan proposed by Ottawa By the mid point of the morn morning � ing session Manitoba Premier Duff Roblin had not given the conference his position on the medical care plan Saskatchewan- alone among the western provinces was thoroughly happy with the fed federal � eral proposals There was a wide gulf between the Alberta and federal governments on the question though both sides were optimistic that differences could be worked out Premier Bennett and Mr Roblin both indicated in inter interviews � views prior to todays session that the federal government proposals dont
